Patna, Jan, 23: As legal battle settles around 20 thousand applicants are looking toward to write the mains examination however as per sources BPSC yet to finalize the dates but they are eying on two slots to conduct the53-55 Civil Services Mains Examination.
The first slot is first half of March because matriculation examination is going to end by 28th Fab. and intermediate examination is going to conduct after march 16 so BPSC is exploring the possibility to conduct the mains in between if thy wont adjust in this slot then they will conduct it in April or May
Final decision will be taken just after the 9th Fab which is the last date for the submission of mains form for fresh student who got their green card in recently published result of BPSC.

first slot is very difficult to conduct main xm due to holi festival....xm wil take at least 14 days..so xm may b in april......
I also think so that exam will be happen in April...
But no one guess BPSC so get ready they can ruin our holi...
Because gathering is only in general and GS paper...
BPSC WILL surprize every body get ready for march
There are another expection about june-july in students...
As far as my idea is concern exam will start in second week of april..possibilty is frm 10 april..
B.P.S.C. will inform us about the Main's date at least two months before.
This post has been made just for the heck of it. "BPSC is exploring the possibilty of Mains exam". Oh! thatz a news. Of course it would be doing that now. "But the final decision will be taken after 9th Feb". Why? What's so sacrosanct about 9th Feb. If they were to conduct mains in first half of March, they would have already taken that decision and possibly intimated us through a notification (as they did for judiciary mains exam). I remember in June last year blog Mr Pankaj posted that PT result would be declared soon.We all know it was declared on 15th July( not soon by any definition). Write a mail to BPSC regarding mains schedule and they will give a short reply April-May. I guess, that is far more reliable source of information than "sources" which are being talked about in this post.
Exam can be taken on 21 days notice....
21? why not 14 or 15 or 700. From where this figure of 21 came? Can you quote the rule from which this figure of 21 came? PT was notified about 15 days back. The problem is in this blog everyone including the blogger floats balloons (of theories) and candidates just catch it. If BPSC in its replies to mails is saying April-May, it is more authentic, rather than what clueless bloggers propose here. Just look at the recent blog post about JPSC. It contains no information, just blabbering in hard to decode English.

The number 21 is as per court verdict that any organization has to give minimum 21 day notice for conducting exams..
Any update about mains date?
Now any update about mains date will come only from BPSC.
I called bpsc office 12 days back, the guy on reception quickly and confidentally told me that mains will be in May. so those who are redy to believe me should get going with preps without wasting time
