What a paradox! On one hand the BJP at the Centre is bragging aloud about a corruption-free state, while Jharkhand run by the BJP govt is finding hard to keep its neck afloat amid rampant corruption in all spheres of administration. Whether recruitment, infrastructure development, sports or for that matter any other realms of governance none is corruption-free.
It’s really amazing to see the patience of the natives of this State-once known as the gold mine for the erstwhile Bihar. Ironically, since it separated from Bihar, the state of Jharkhand is witnessing a steady decline in the administrative efficiency. While the crime graph has shot up in alarming proportion, amenities to its citizens have touched the nadir.
But then the question arises who is at fault? Obviously the answer is louder than the question itself-the state govt! Despite 11 years of statehood, the state has nothing to speak about regarding its development and growth. Rather people at the helm of affairs are more interested in filling up their own coffers depriving the people of this state of their legitimate rights and aspirations of better governance. If no steps are taken to change the affairs of the state soon, time will come when true to its name nothing would be left in the state but only bushes that’s Jhaar!
