The Grades of GSEB 2011 and its meaning

The time GSEB has given the ranking on the basis of percentile rank. Suppose there are 60 students in a class and one student has secured 92 marks while other 54 students have secured 91 or less marks, then 54 divided by 60 into 100 = 90 marks is percentile rank.

Marks range – grade – grade code

91-100 – A1 – 10

81-90 – A2 -09

75-80 – B1 -08

62-70 – B2 -07

51-60 – C1 -06

45-50 -C2 -05

33-40 -D -04

E1 grade in two subjects can go in upper class (GSEB result of 10th in 2019).
