Vacancy to touch Approximately 700 in BPSC 2011

According to the news published in Hindustan daily of Patna Edition dated 29.4.2011, 2 lakh candidates had applied for BPSC pre exam and out of them 60% had actually appeared in the exam. It means about 1 lakh 20 thousand had taken the exam. If we go by trends of BPSC, results should be 10% of appearance and due to candidates coming under domain of fixed cut off, total number of candidates selected in PT exam. may be around 13000-14000. There are mixed reaction among candidates about level of question asked in the exam. It is likelihood that about 10 questions would be deleted. Hence cut off may be slightly low as compared to it is expected. I think 92-96 would be for General Candidate, 80 for EBC, 85 for OBC, 70-75 for SC/ST. BPSC normally publishes its answer keys along with result of PT exam. Hence, don’t expect it before second week of June when result of PT would be declared as reported by Hindustan Dainik through the sources of Secretary, BPSC.

It seems that about 200 more vacancies may included by the time result of PT is declared. Hence total seats will be around. 700. But it is desperate that still not a single vacancy is coming in ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE. It is heard that last time by fault excess candidates were declared successful for Adm. Service. It may be recalled that last time Govt. had introduced PREMIER SERVICE in BIHAR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE whereby selected candidates posted on SDM/SDO rank post in lieu of previous posting on BDO/CO. The posts of BDO/CO now come under BIHAR GRAMIN SEVA. However as per some information more than 25 SDM had dropped because of that they had got selected in UPSC and other states so some minor hope is here.
