CBSE Class X result will be decleared on 2nd of June

Allahabad,May,31: As the expected date is gone for CBSE Class X result now the new expected date to announce Class X results for Chennai division is on Tuesday. But, students in Allahabad region will have to wait more time which can be 3 to 4 days for their result.

The sources close to the development claim that the result could be announced on June 2. CBSE coordinator, Lucknow Jawed Alam Khan told reporters that there was no intimation from the board till Monday evening. "We hope to get some news on Tuesday or Wednesday," said Khan advising anxious students to check the CBSE website where a pre-announcement notice will be placed.

The staffs at CBSE accept that the announcement of results for Class X has been delayed, but they do not want to comment over the issue. Off the record they are blaming on introduction of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) from this year. "Preparation of results is more tedious than ever before. This may be protected from the fact that the system has became complex and the student's result is spread across four sheets.

The results for students who have taken the board exams is being prepared as per CBSE convenience," said one of them. Another officer attributed the delay happened because of the All India Engineering Entrance Examination paper leak. "The entire machinery was involved in organizing the paper all over again, which made the evaluation and assessment works suffer," she said.

In UP capital, there are some 75 schools affiliated with the CBSE most of students from such schools have opted for the year-round assessment under CCE, the remaining have gone with the board. But, both the groups are anxiously waiting for their results. Traditionally, high school (class X) and intermediate (class XII) results are announced by the board latest by May 28.
