Ranchi, Nov, 6: Chairman of JPSC Shiv Basant has alleged the coaching institutes of Ranchi that they are trying to defame the commission and lobbying for the cancelation of 4th JPSC PT examination.
Mr Basant has written a letter to governor of Jharkhand by quoting that the some people associated with the business interest of the coaching centre are creating mess in the situation.
He firmly said that the examination won't be canceled if anybody has doubt that he can go to the court.
The result released by of 4th PT examination few month ago the result came under controversy due to only 2194 result however in first JPSC PT 9600 student was declared passed, in second examination 15000 students were declared passed and in third 17000 student was given the chance to write mains. JPSC has said that they have clarified in the notification that only ten times of the applicants against the total vacancy will be given the chance to write the mains examination.
The applicants also find the anomaly in the publication of result as several general candidates were passed in reserve category.
Applicants are also raising the matter of repetition of question from the previous year of UPSC question in some paper majority of question has been repeated from the same year of UPSC papers.
The scaling methodology also came in doubt as students got more than maximum marks in the examination.
The model answer key was also full of errors almost every optional paper was having wrong answers for example sociology optional paper having 30 wrong answer in total 100 questions.
JPSC has constituted the expert committees who have corrected the model answer key and soon fresh result will be declared.
What Students Want?
The failed students launched their protest against the JPSC by demanding the result up to 15000 in 4th PT that will help the student who has not seen the UPSC previous year papers or cancel the examination and take fresh examination.
JPSC stand on the Controversy
JPSC is trying to make the system transparent so they have declared the result related information on the web site. Fresh result will be issued in coming week based on the correct answer key however matter is also due for hearing in high court on November 9 so commission is also like to see the progress in court to decide the further action.
On the subject of increasing the result JPSC has said the government that if government will direct to do so then it can be done up to 6100 as per the practices in BPSC.

I hope mr chairman sir will do what is required to conduct fair mains exam n fair evaluation of copies becz in jharkhand paper setters are giving private coaching that is totally illegal.I hope chairman sir will look into this matter also.
Mr Chairman,don't try to divert the actual issue & don't try to misguide the honourable Governor and aspirsnts.Corruption in JPSC is obvious, so, first take the steps to check the corrupt JPSC officials & declare the revised result of at least 15000 student.

Ok it is accepted that business interest of coaching institute is there.
But how can JPSC justify what they have done with the 4th PT Examination and publication of results
