New Delhi,Oct,20:Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) the main recruiter of government of India is looking to change the pattern of Civil Services Mains examination from coming year.
According to new pattern the optional papers in mans examination will be removed, DOPT is seriously considering the change however it is not clear that some other paper will be added or not in new pattern.
The changes will incorporate in the recommendations of Y.K Alagh committee (2003) and Administrative reform committee headed by Veerappa Moily in (2007).
After the change it will help to create the level playing field for the applicants.Alka Sirihi Secretary in the DOPT confirmed the reports however she also said final decision yet to be taken.
