Poverty post good for BPSC


The latest World Bank report says progressive story over the overall poverty number at global lever according to report world has achieved its first Millennium Development Goal of reducing extreme poverty to half ahead of the 2015 deadline.
The World Bank's technical definition of extreme poverty demarcates the people living below the expense of $1.25 per day, which is adjusted for purchasing power parity (PPP).

According to the latest report, released by the World Bank as much as 1.29 billion people or what we can say 22 percent of the developing world's headcounts are forced to, live below $1.25 a day, which is significant reduction from 52 percent which was reported in 1981.
