CBSE Class X result on Mobile via SMS
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declares the results of class 10 and 12 , parents, students, teachers and even schools spend ample time checking different websites for results.
Such results are declared in multiple phases phase region wise by CBSE, i.e. Delhi, Chennai, Ajmer Guwahati, Allahabad, and Panchkula. Class XII results were already released six day ago and those of class X are expected any time now most probably expected today.
Information on class X results can also be accessed through the mobile by IVR (interactive voice response).To assist the parents and students get instant intimation about their results on their mobile phones CBSE has tied up with different government departments and service providers to give information on mobiles.
Results by IVR
Class X results can be access when they are announced globally through IVR, a technology that allows a system to interact with humans through the use of voice and keypad inputs, by dialing 91 - 11 — 24357270, a number set National Informatics Center (NIC).
Some dedicated mobile numbers for accessing results are: 56735 (Vodafone), 5550099 (Aircel), 12971 (Tata Indicom) 55456068 (Idea), 1255536 (BSNL), and 505242411/53030815 (RCom).
However, these services will not be toll free and users will have to bear normal telephone charges. Results with subject wise marks would be conveyed in about 30 seconds through IVR.
Results by SMS
Students can also get their results through SMS by typing cbse10 and sending it to 9212357123.
Also, if students want to get results from their mobile service providers, they can send the SMS to 56735 for Vodafone, 5800001 for Aircel, 55456068 for Idea 52001 for MTNL, 57766 for BSNL, , 51234 for RCom and 582821 for Tata Indicom.

New Delhi, May 30: The long wait for CBSE Class X students, who are expecting their results, is continuing even after the six days of the release of Class XII results. It is now expected that the results will be out today.
As the board yet to made any formal announcement about the date of results, expectant students, their parents and teachers are still uninformed lot, hoping that the wait will end soon."We have no idea when the results would be announced, as nobody at the regional office is even answering the phone. Generally, Class XII results are announced on May 23 and that of Class X on May 26. But this year, with no official announcement so far, we are continuously checking the CBSE website for updates," said a principal of a CBSE school.
After the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation system has come into force for Class X, the new report card will have three areas scholastic, co-scholastic areas and co-scholastic activities in which students are assessed. This year, Class X students will get a report card with results of both Class IX and Class X.
The detailed report card will have scholastic and co-scholastic areas of both Classes IX and X. The academic areas in part I of the report card are graded on a nine point scale. On the card, Section 1(A) will have the grades, including the formative assessment , summative assessment , overall grade (FA+SA) and grade point.
