Ranchi, Aug, 25: The Cabinet meeting on Tuesday discussed the matter over the 4th JPSC civil service PT examination result where the students from the Jharkhand complained of not performing because of the repetition of questions from UPSC examination.
Disaster Management and Excise minister Raja Peter, raised the matter and, BJP Minister Bimla Pradhan also demanded CM Arjun Munda to review the result.
A senior Cabinet Minister revealed that the CM Arjun Munda is of the view that either the examination should be cancelled in favor of a fresh one or more students should be declared successful so that aspirants from Jharkhand should get a chance.
A group of students tried to meet CM last day with their grievances. They are now demanding that number of passed students should be increased by 15000 so that local students get chance to appear in the examination.
According to recent result 2,194 candidates have been declared pass in the PT against 219 posts.
The failed students alleged that in the PT examination the JPSC not only adopted scaling system in evaluation but also repeated one of the question papers of the UPSC (PT) which they said allegedly done to favour students outside who have outnumbered local students.
Out of the total number 850 candidates are from general category, whereas 690 from ST, 160 from SC, 150 from BC II and 344 from BC I categories. 110 women candidates have also cleared the JPSC 4th PT examination.
A Cabinet Minister revealed that CM has asked to put up related files before him for review. A good number of cabinet ministers expressed their concern that the local students are being sidelined in the Government jobs one conducted by the JPSC.

Jo khud scaling ke bharose pass hue hai unhe lag raha hai ki jpsc ne thik kiya hai.
