JPSC 4th PT result expected on higher side Cut –Off

Ranchi,June,1:The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) the main recruiter of the state of Jharkhand is going slow, in their work because they are having the shortage of staffs and the commission working with newly appointed chairman ,Shiv Basant who is yet to join, Parvez Hassan, and Deputy Secretary-cum-Examination Controller Ratikant Jha.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission not able to discharge their duties on time, as more than several examinations are scheduled to be conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission in 2011. As per the number of vacancy which is 219 and the decision of JPSC to take only 10 times the number of seats.

Also the paper was bit tough as most of the questions were repeated from UPSC previous year. The selection will not be like before i.e those who scored more than 60% marks (gen) were called for the mains exam.

The total Marks was of 300 the cut-offs is expected for General candidates (225- 230), Other Backward Class (220-225), Schedule Cast (210-215), Scheduled Tribes (190-200) If they will follow the scaling which just looking like less possibility then according to toughness level it will be adjusted however if they will decide to follow the suit as they have done in previous year then 40% will we the criteria nobody can predict the Jharkhand Public Service Commission system.

It is well known that that it has more than 100 vacancies for JAS and 64 for JPS . So it is an important exam said an expert associated with catching institute in Ranchi.

  1. 225 out of 300 for GEN candidate is 75%. how can you expect ppl to get more than 75% marks when questions were from UPSC. even in UPSC ppl dnt get such gr8 marks, anything around 65% should suffice. Btw i m nt going to get more than 200 marks (law option) according to your source. any news for lowering of cut offs

  2. Parthasarthi: The history optional is the issue history people had on an average scored 90+in optional it counts 180 marks. In GS avg score is about 65.

    so, 180+65=245...

Jharkhand basically not following scaling system but the cut off system which is not based on optional.
So one have to cross the level is situation remains same.

However JPSC is trying to address this issue to balance the result hope for the best.
