SSC Maharastra results 2011, likely to announce soon

Maharashtra SSC -Senior Secondary Certificate results 2011 were estimated to be released soon.But the results is under the speculation that they maybe announced on Friday as some reports said the 10th result Maharashtra board will be announced before week end.

The students are confused amid such speculation. Adding to the confusion there were multiple messages sent to the students asking them to check the results on the SSC websit website hadn't published the results.

The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has published the results for the UP polytechnic entrance exam 2011.

The number of students taking the UP- JEECUP entrance exam substantially in 2011.The examination is conducted every year in UP for admission to the various polytechnic institutes across the state.

This year JEECUP had relaxed the eligibility percentage for appearing in the examination with students getting 35 per cent marks in their SSC examinations (Standard X examination) being allowed to appear in the UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2011.

A decision regarding this was taken by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) last week.

The previous eligibility criteria of 50 % marks in SSC examinations. The criteria was gone against the HRD ministry's move to popularize technical education.
