The work
was entrusted to the NIC which has prepared a new software and it is
negotiating with a nationalized bank to offer this service.
Online
facility would be started once the Commission reaches an agreement with the
bank.
Now those
wishing to appear in the Public Service Exams in the state would be able to
submit their forms as well as fees through online service. For the time being,
the Commission would provide online service for interview only.
However,
for written exams the PSC would provide this facility in a phased manner.
With the
new software to be put in place, errors would come down and software would trap
mistakes so that they are corrected soon.
There
would also be no risk of forms being torn and cut if they are are filled up
