BPSC has conducted the mains
examination successfully although some typological errors were seen in the
question papers, till now the applicants have evaluated their performance till so
I am starting the discussion board to find out the consensus opinion about the
cut off in the mains examination.
The total number of seats is
741
About 30% student was absent
it means about 14000 students appeared in mains examination.

- In 47th BPSC Examination it was 731
- I n 48-52nd BPSC Examination it was 742 against the Vacancy of 388
- In 46th BPSC Exam cutoff was 715
Current year question
pattern was bit different to break the trend in GS under which statistics was
complex and time consuming for arts student.
BPSC is going to implement
some moderation tool to make level playing field after the guidance of Patna HC
to arrest some additional advantage to some optional papers.
The central statically tendency
reflects that this time there r many reasons of cutoff will land in the bands
of 680-720 because seats are more.

ratnesh,u are right.as it was an open ended question and source not easily availiable to candidates.this queston was mainly put to weed out up's people,who hardly know about bihar and dreaming to get dsp post and other posts.it was also to test the sound knowledge of an aspirant who have not made any special study of general informations. i thanks to bpsc for putting this type of question in this exam.they change the trend as compare to previous years exams.good job done by bpsc.

Bssc sachivalay ka result june last week mein hi aana tha. Kis wajah se yeh ruka ,pata nahi chal raha hai ,lagta hai kuchh case caas ka chakkar ho gaya.

mr rajan,almost 2 months ago we wrote these answer in examination hall,so it is impossible to recall what one wrote.
for same ques. one write different in exam hall and at home.
after 2 or 3 months we shall get performance report of these answers through our result
bahut ladke ye sochte hain ki jpsc me 2100 ladke diye hain to easy chance lag raha hai... to unhe bata doon ki 2300 diye hain aur original result me v 2194 ka hua tha.. ye to galti ki wajah se 3300 result aaya.. aur jo sochte hain ki 2300 ladke diye hain to competition kam hain wo thoda sahi se analysis karein.. 2300 me sirf 214 seat hai.. it means 11:1.. rt..
aur yahan pt me ek optional tha.. it means savi 2300 ladke ka 1 papaer atleat prepare hai.. now compare it with bpsc.... bpsc me v 6000 ladke absent the means only 14000 ne diya hai 740 seat approx ke liye.. ab jpsc me optional pt me nahi tha.. so bahut se bank/ssc prepare karne wale pt me kar gaye hain jo ki bahut logon ne confirm kiya hai.. aise kam se kam 5000 ladke hain unhe hatakar 740 seat aur 9000 ladke meand lagbhag 12:1 jo ki jpsc ke comparable hai....
Are kis per gussa rahe ho bhai. Hme tumhare jpsc mains dene se koi problem nhi. Kyon sidh kar rhe ki jpsc aasan nhi. Hm bhi aisa hi mante hai dost.

For, the BPSC does not provide the candidate's personal details, like candidate's name, fathers name etc, of the candidates to the board members.
Introduced in the 47th combined competitive examination for Bihar administrative and allied services, the new system aims to nullify even the remotest possible chance of bias on the part of board members."
from 47th CCE and onward BPSC Interview is generally conducted impartilly. those who are claiming of getting between 60-70 marks in Inrerview would have certainly performed poorlly before the board. I have appeared for Interview twice in BPSC and that too in the latter half but never got less than 90 marks! It was my poor marks in written exam that have deserted me in those attempts
who told u that bpsc members dont have your personal details...infact its read in front of the candidates by the member before starting the interview..
dear avinash...i know many students who gets marks around 80-90..its an irony of fact that if the candidate gets less marks in mains then he or she gets average marks in interview..its a move to prove that the board has not done injustice and the board very well knows that even by giving average marks the candidate will not qualify...and if a candidate gets very good marks in mains then he or she gets poor marks in interview to keep him or her out of the list...
corruption kaa simple reason ye hai ki agar 50 candidates ki bhi setting ki jaati hai interview mein to members ko kisi naa kisi genuine candidate ko bahar karna hi hoga and it can only be done by giving less marks in interview
waise its good to be positive but not blindly accept everything including corruption

but awarded 115 in interview
he got selected.

dear anonymous mere ek friend ko 47th written me 739 marks tha jabki us baar cut off 731 tha. uske bad bhi use interview me 100 marks mila aur wo jail suprintendent ke post par select hua. 48-52 me ek aur friend ko written me 750 marks mila aur interview me usko 105 mila aur wo excise inspector ke post par select hua. iske baad aapki baaton par kaise yakeen kiya jay ki if the candidate gets less marks in mains then he or she gets average marks in interview...

mai soch raha hoon ki interview me apne mobile per pura discussion voice recording kar lunga taki khuda na khasta koi dhandhli ho jaye to baad mein sabit kiya ja sake....
vichaar sahi hai ratnesh bhai..lekin risk sirf ek hi hai ki ye allowed nahi...aur ye members bahut smartly khelte hai...aapse aise aise question poochenge jisse aapka kabhi koi waasta hi nahi...for example arts ke students se maths ke question...science ke students se ancient history ke battles ke dates..
it is obvious ki aise stupid questions ke jawaab dena sabhi ke liye sambhav nahi hota..
aur aise sawaalo ke basis pe kam number de di jaati hai..waise bhi interview should never be the test of facts and figures..but bpsc members have no other questions apart from stupid facts
bhai mai certainly apna interview record karne ke liye serious hoon.
I am not afraid of questions they ask bcos i am a science students writing bpsc with arts subjects.
Prelims ke liye ham log waise bhi history aur geograaphy polity etc yaad karte hain to darna kaisa.
With due respect i will also try to put interviewers back on the track if they try to digrace too much from the normal line of questions that shud be asked in an interview.
My idea is loud and clear-- if the members are really going to play any dirty games with me then i shall politely make them realise that they are facing a bright and honest administrator in making. Jo chor honge wo jarur darenge, all we need is a composed and self assured appearence before the board.

Jis district mein posting ho udhar logo ko saaf patchalna chahiye ki saheb se jyada jankar koi dusra nahi hai.

Everyone is guessing it.A lot has been said abt moderation & all. Patna HC's order is to just see how an optional get many marks, not to apply moderation or scaling and all...most importantly scaling is done in every paper not in selected papers as it is done in UPSC or UPPSC etc. If u have written good & correct u will get marks, the marking pattern will be same as previous.
now coming to the issue of getting extra marks in few optional...BPSC has adopted different methods..which is reflected in mains question paper. Every optional has some tricky and tough question which will decide, u r not going to get average marks on wrong question.If u have answer correctly u will get marks as usual, which seems difficult.
What is the difference this time u will find few candidate will get good marks while other will get very less, earlier everyone were getting average marks.

48-52nd me saturday night ko BPSC ne Anthro Philosophy walo ko pad uphar me dekar sunday ko office band kar diya tha. Is bar kise TOHFA milega.BPSC ke liye ek gana "Mousam ki tarah tum bhi badal to na jaoge".
dosto,result december ke first week me ajayega,pali ka copy check ho chuka kai,is bar average no he aya hai,it means kam bhi nahe ayaya hai,do candidate ko achaa number aya hai.
